An important message about Anadarko Public Schools and the H1N1 "swine" flu. Letter to Parents
Welcome to the Anadarko Public Schools
Welcome to the Anadarko Public Schools where “Ensuring Student Success- Whatever It Takes” is the focus of our academic and extra curricular programs. The district strives to employ the highest quality teachers and administrators and to provide a professional work environment that motivates teachers, administrators, and students to develop to their fullest potential.
Anadarko Public Schools has a unified purpose in taking collective responsibility for student learning. We are committed to assessing our effectiveness at the district, school, and classroom levels based on the results of each student’s individual academic achievement.
We are constantly pursuing opportunities for improvement and program enhancements. Recognizing the need for all children to obtain the academic skills necessary for a successful life, we have implemented full-day four-year-old classes, after school tutoring, mentoring, summer school, an alternative education academy, and an adult education program.
Anadarko Public Schools serves approximately 1,900 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Our students participate in vocal and instrumental music, art, college bound courses, gifted and talented programs, and athletics, as well as an aligned and challenging core curriculum.
We believe the education of children is a cooperative effort of parents, the community, and the school district. “Warrior Pride” is evident throughout our community at athletic events, fine arts performances, and in the academic achievements of our students.
We continually strive to“Ensuring Student Success – Whatever It Takes” at all levels throughout our district.
